The American Red Cross remains on the ground out west where thousands of people are impacted by the continuous outbreak of devastating wildfires.

Trained Red Cross disaster workers are working around the clock to open or support shelters and evacuation centers. More than 100 people escaped the fires and smoke overnight and thousands more are camping after being forced from their homes. Campers are welcome to come to the shelters to get information, food, showers or just to escape the smoke.
